Other Car Forums....

Im a member on 2 other car forums, beside CD5tuner and CB7tuner and we really do have something special. The members here are nicer, cooler, smarter and just all around better people.

Example; I put my Blizzaks on a forum im on for $200 and all the local guys are saying that if im gonna junk them, i should just give them away for free and people are offering me $20 and $50 and they were serious. That's like saying, "If you're gonna junk your car, then why charge people for parts? Why not just give everything away?" I know $200 is a bit for tires but theyre Blizzaks with 95% tread left, lol.

CB7tuner was my first forum and everyone here is/was so cool and friendly and then i sign up for other sites everyone, Mods included, are dicks and it really surprised me and threw me off. Part of the reason im not on them often, lol.

Anyone else run into this kind of thing? I was just really disappointed to find that the rest of the car scene isnt as friendly as we are.

When my site closed down (corollastyles.com) (we all ended up getting different cars, and never fully recovered after our host was hacked), I'd given up on finding a good forum community for just those reasons; too many asshats.

CB7T was the closest thing I found to my own old site, and I have to admit I love it here. I used to belong to H-T, ColumbusRacing.com, a couple of other Accord forums, Mecacaraudio, etc. None of them have the sense of community that exists here.

We seem to be able to weed out the douchebags (for the most part), and other forums seem to thrive on them.

I'm not a member of any other forum, but I browse all sorts regularly. I've never seen another that comes anywhere close to this one. CB7T is one of a kind. Just look at all the active members on here that don't even own CB7s anymore. This website is about much more than a car. I don't think there could ever be another one like this.

mazda forums...suck. local orlando forums...suck. nissan forums...suck but their meets are alright. this is the best ive been to i have to admit. although, i may be trading my mazda for a 3.5 altima soon but i'll still be here doing my thing

Ive never gotten on, been able to get on or understood 4chan. I get it. I know what it is, but ive never been on long enough to grasp the concept of that site.

As i said, im on a few other forums and this one is by far the coolest. KCSR has awesome smileys and a rivaled porn collection, but the members there are tools. They allow slur, slander, hate...anything as long as its not cp or illegal.

I not only like the people here, but i also like the way its ran. Even once i move on to something other than a CB, im still going to come here.

I am with you on that one Mike KCSR sux major ass at times nothing but drama there. Same goes for H-T, Love it here CB7T I think is one of the best sites to exist. I am on here as much as I am FB

I don't care much for what items are worth new but more so their current value. Sorta like my friend who keeps bragging about his BMW 740iL being worth $60k back in 1995.

Have you tried selling it here? Any luck? Any lowball prices?

Im 50/50 on them. If i sell them, ill have to find 4 old tires to replace them. I think i mightve tried them here, i dont remember.

And even if they lose 50% of their value the minute they went on the car, that makes them $200. Knock off a bit cuz theyve got ~6k on them, i still dont think $100 is too much to ask.

I bought some tires from my friend for $200, and they had about 10,000 on them. I don't think it's an unfair asking price!

If it wasn't a pain in the nuts to ship, I'd buy them for my Fit! I got stuck in the snow last year a couple times... Damn all seasons didn't do the trick!

most members are cool and friendly but others go out of their way to make it look "not so friendly"
