ever since doing my swap that got done on feb of this year..h22a,i/h/e..i got pulled over aug.5 for my exhuast being "modified" i didn't even really know i can get a ticket for this being that i was on oakridge and thats like eg,ek,ef,da,dc,cb heaven..but no the cop gave me a ticket...fast forward to today and me and my friend was in a car and i was by another area that tends to have import(192) and i drove by this neighborhood which was right down the street from my house and i noticed a cruiser parked in there..so as soon as i drove by i noticed he started pulling out and heading the same direction i was going...there was like 6 cars between us but i already knew he was coming for me for some odd reason..i ended up making it to the neighborhood and he ended pulling me over there..the worthless cop gives me ANOTHER ticket for a modified exhaust...this has been a ticket each month now since august..and the thing is my muffler isn't even THAT loud or not at all especially when im cruising..so in other words..is this crap going to keep happening?! like does everyone one here getting randomly harrassed by cops that are bored and see a lowered accord and just chases them down for no reason?! like this is really getting ridiculous..and the thing that is bothering me is because now since i have gotten pulled over TWICE for the same reason i have a feeling everytime a cop gets behind me there going to see the history and just keep giving me tickets..FL doesn't have any kind of emissions law like cali. and other states so what really gives..

Have you actually checked to see what the law states when it comes to exhausts?

You said you were given a ticket for a "Modified exhaust"
Is it modified from OEM?

you should go search the classifieds for a stock axle back.

stock axle back = good for cops

2.5" e-cutout = good for attracting cops but they will never know it is you unless of course your fuse pops while you're trying to close the cutout, lol.

I ran without the piping from the cat down for 2 years till my dad got tired of smelling exhaust when he rode with me.. Of course I lived in Alabama where they really dont care as long as you dont blow the donut out of there hand.

You knowingly modified your exhaust, therefore you have to live with the consequences.

You make it sound like they are only picking on YOU out of the whole state, Ignorance of the laws isn't an excuse either.

The way your car is, creates a ticketing offence. So either keep paying tickets, or change it.

Man sucks that you actually modified your exhaust and got a ticket.... In City of Vancouver...Lot's of people are complaining of loud exhaust coming from car, so police gives us warning, but overall resident are actually complaining of choppers and harleys with loud toys(bikes are like ear killers)..So next month or two...they might actually banned or fine loud noises from bikes not cars...!!!!! lol it was in the news last week

The whole " modified exhaust" thing is a bullshit excuse to pull some one over. Have you ever been in a chevy with glassspacks and been pulled over? Or how about those loud ass harleys?

Take it to court! You might win, especially if you bring proof that you bought it legitimacy. The cops just think you have 10 pound of columbian snow in your trunk. Seriously, take it to court!
