Contemplating these things recently...

Recently I had a lot of time to think. So my question for you guys and girls is something that I have been thinking about for a while. What do you think is the biggest religion: sex, drugs, money, or temporal obsessions?

Sex drugs money and temporal obsessions are the religions i am focusing on finding the answer to which has the biggest following.

I would also say money.

As Ralphie said, Sex should be #1, but the sex we have is not the sex we're supposed to be having. Sex's sole purpose, is to further the species; procreate. With the occassional fun time. we've turned it the complete opposite. We fuck like rabbits, for fun, and are afraid to do it for the purposes of having babies.

I, and the creators of Star Trek (laugh all you want) have been on to something; if money disappeared, things would be different.

None of these things would fall into my definition of religion. Obsessions? Most definitely. Religious beliefs? No way.

Just a heads up:

Political and religious threads, as well as threads discussing delicate topics (homosexuality, race, etc...) will be monitored by the CB7tuner staff, and they will be removed at the first sign of trouble. Troublemakers will be banned. I'd like to think we are mature and responsible enough to have such conversations, but again, these things are not necessary on an automotive forum. If they cause trouble, they're gone. End of story.

A good example of a temporal obsession would be masturbation. You are obsessed with the feeling it brings but it is only temporary pleasure.

Sex is a religion now?

For some people it can be. There are many people obsessed with all types of sexual acts. it consumes them. Sex is not a bad thing however, used in the right context it is a very beautiful act of affection and an amazing sign of love for a significant other. But outside of that context, well, what love are you showing that person? =/
