Just went to the wreckers and got some trim parts for it that are broken, like the trunk garnish by the licence plate light, and the panel on the driver's door that covers the screw holes for the mirror. Picked up a water pump for $43 with a $50 gift card my room mate gave me, and bought some cleaning supplies.
There was a 93 Mazda 323 at the wreckers I had my eye on a little while ago. It's all fixed up, runs great and is in decent shape. Easily an $800 car all day long. Needs a $100 out of province inspection and I can get the car for $300, and be into it for $400. If I sell the Jetta, I will pay my rent and maybe go buy the 323 and flip that and make another $300-600 on it.
