    Detroit Auto Show 2011!

A few from today, this was my first time shooting an auto show so be easy on me!
ejx_michael, his buddy and I went to the show and it was a blast! I suggest anyone in the northern half make it out for at least one...

I shot over 1700 pics today!

            American cars
I live 20 minutes from Chrysler headquarters so I can say that!
CRZ, definitely looking hybrid with those twin exhausts
            MRT
37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

Lots of DIY videos specifically for our car

Get some awesome wipers! <-- It's a DIY

I'm not impressed by the Subaru concept one bit. Looks like a Toyota or something. Lame.

why do car companies make concept cars look so amazing to the eye and then when they release the actual car itself it looks a million times less attractive?
Is it too much money to simply produce the car with that type of look??
All it is really is minor cosmetics. idk that is something that has always bugged me. I guess i will understand that concept once I become a car designer.

They do it to show options, not everyone loves the concept but everyone likes the stock one.

                        And to make us cry.

They always need to water it down for the general buying public and make it less offensive/impractical/sporty/expensive etc.

I will always commend Dodge for making bad ass concepts and putting them into production with very little changes. IE: Viper, Prowler etc. But then, those are specialty cars.
