    Toughest trucks...WTF???

    http://autos.yahoo.com/articles/auto...ughest-trucks/

    the list;
    Honda Ridgeline did they change something since that test where some dudes pulled like a thousand pounds over the tow limit and stretched the UNIBODY of this "truck"? I almost stopped reading as this is THE FIRST vehicle on the list...I can not even call it a "truck"

    the rest;

    Ford F-150 V8

    Toyota Tundra V8

    Chevrolet Silverado/GMC 1500 V8

      GMC Sierra crew cab for me if I'm buying a truck.

      My next door neighbour just bought a 2008 Tundra TRD 4x4 crew cab with the 4.0L Supercharged V6. Super sweet truck.

      My room mate has a 2005 GMC Sierra crew cab with the 5.3 Vortec. That thing has some balls. One of the best interiors, comfort and room wise IMO.

      My other room mate has a 2004 F150 XLT crew cab with the 5.4 Triton. It's just the biggest hunk of shit ever. There's always something wrong with it, it's ugly, cheaply built and just a really shitty truck overall.

      I just can't get into the Ridgeline. It's so ugly and it just doesn't seem like a truck.

      And I despise Dodge Rams with a passion.

            That article is garbage. How can a unibody truck with payload of 1500lbs and 5000lbs tow capicity be considered toughest truck?

            My Chevy express 3500 has more balls than that. They dont compare disel trucks, or any other variations either so its very vagued.

                3. Ridgeline
                4. F 150

                Just like having a truck:
                1. Ridgeline/Tundra
                2. Chevy
                3. RAM
                4. F 150
                MRT
                37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
                30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
                27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

                          Not that I would call a ridge line a true truck, but there is a reinforced frame under that uniboby which is pretty damn strong. Read for yourselves.

                              my dad has the 6.4, it's a beast but gas mileage is only around 13 but its got plenty of torque for towing and what not. that's basically all it's used for. Those dual turbos spool up nice. He had the 7.3 then the 6.0, and now the 6.4 and this one has the best pulling power. BUUUT that new one out is crazyyy http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2009/08...el-engine.html gas mileage is only said to be about 16. the 7.3 he used to have had in the 20's. also I read in popular mechanics that between the duramax, cummins and the new powerstroke "scorpion" that the ford came out on top. http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars...mc-sierra-2500
