So... for the people that have ordered from them, what's your opinion?

I think I posted that somewhere on here before. In my honest opinion, their customer service is downright garbage. If you order something it's like playing russian roulette for timely and good service.

There are lots of HID vendors out there to choose from. I avoid them pretty much at all costs now.

Oh i'm not looking to buy anything from them, it's just that i see a lot of people telling other people that their product is a hit or miss so to buy two units instead.

I ordered from them. slim ballasats. Had a bad ballast. Sent it back, still didnt work. Sent back both ballasts for trade for the fat ballasts. didnt cost me a thing.

Ive said it before and Ill say it again; They're customer service reps are assholes but they Do Work. They were rushed, hurried and came off a little rude but they did what I asked, replaced/fixed my issues and did so without costing me a ton of money.

Am I happy with the PRODUCT? Yes. Could their Customer Service Department use a little work? Yes.

My order wasn't shipped until a week AFTER I ordered it.

Plus when I called them to ask a question, I waited on hold and then I asked the guy, Got "yes" :click: Pretty damn anti-service if you ask me

I've NEVER had a bad situation with DDM... I've had parts replaced without cost to me at all... Great customer service.

I just ordered the 9006 raptors.....took a week to ship but they sent me three seperate emails updating me and included a tracking, so far so good!

From my readings, its slightly better then hit or miss.....

They were nice when I messed up the wrong color HID's and had them switched before shipped out, I bought from them countless times maybe twice it was slow since they were back ordered. When they weren't it was here within a week.

Never had a problem with any of their ballast.

Ordered from them 3 seperate times and have not had an issue with the product or their customer service.

I can definetly recommend their products and services.

Whatever that link is trying to do is BS. HIDs are not illegal to import. Every box I got clearly stated HID lights on the customs paperwork.

ordered new 6000k bulbs for my TSX retro and they came within a week/week and a half. So far they've been in for 13 months and they still look good.

Not bad for 15 dollar bulbs/pair.

There are TONS of cheap HID sellers anymore. Hell, our very own Maple has been hustling with the HID sales. With plenty of options to buy, and so many cheap options (HIDs cost about as much as a fancy set of halogen bulbs now...) I don't see a reason to bother with a company that doesn't act like they want your money.

X2 I ordered an extremely wrong color but changed my mind post order. No shit was shoveled my way they just canceled my order and I placed a new one. Received my bulbs and ballasts 7 days later due to the weekend and time of ordering.

As for being as much as halogen bulbs, yeah they CAN be as much but the sylvania bulbs can run you 50 bucks for 2 or 100 bucks for highs and lows.

I spent 80 and got 55 watt hids.

For the op, obviously you want to look into all suspension manufacturers and stay away from the el-cheap-o guys, but with headlights, you can't beat the price for what you get and if your bulbs break your obviously not going to crash because of it.

Just my thoughts.
