I bought a pair of 35w 6500k HIDS from them and for the price I couldnt argue.

They did send me 2 different color bulbs but its barely noticeable so I deal with it lol

X2 on the color of the bulbs. One is a nice blueish 6000k while the other has a greenish tint to it. It may be because I didn't "burn them in" IDK if it's true but I read that you need to keep the lights on for at least 10 minutes or something, but w/e I love what I have for the price so I can't complain, much lol.

One looks 6500k and the other one looks more 5000k. Its weird but hey there bright enough and it only bugs me when im following someone with a polished paintjob and I can actually see the difference.

Both 6000k sets I've bought were both the same colour, no difference.

          3000k's are the same.

Bought slim ballast 6000s for the Accord, but cheaped out and got the regular size ones for the Mazda.

I dont even know where the ballasts are anymore for the CG. I ziptied them to the chassis near the radiator but there not there anymore.. Somewhere in the bumper lol

Hmmm i know MikeW got two different colors but why do i feel like one warmed up!?

I ordered 5k...so i hope theyre the same color because that would honestly bug the shit out of me, i mean for 48$ shipped i won't complain, but fuck.

Thats why i buy HID's in person. The place i get them from tests the bulbs and ballast's before you buy them.

                  ROFL!!!

Yea im not sure where im going to put mine.

Did any of you guys 'waterproof' the ballasts or connections?

I know the apexcone ballasts are near bulletproof and are suppose to be submerge able but what about the connections between the ballasts/bulb? Where the connections meet?

Did anyone wrap that to insulate it?

The ones for my fogs in the Mazda are literally tucked and wedged somewhere in the bumper cover, and for the headlights, the driver size one is zip tied behind the intake infront of the battery, and the passenger side one is wedged between the fender and coolant resevoir lol.

I remember tucking the slim ones away neatly in the CB.

I've ordered 2 or 3 sets from them in the past, I will say that one pair of 6000k's were definitely more blue then another pair

The ones I got for the CB had slim ballasts I never wrapped them and they are still going strong 2 years later with no corrosion at all. Had to wipe the oil and junk off the front cause I thought it was going to catch on fire but no complaints.

A buddy of mine (Ander) has the 5000k set and his look nothing like mine. His are more white with a tint of blue and mine are just more blue lol. I am ordering 5000k's at some point because I love the way his look.

I had their "6k" setup. Always started right up, worked great in even -15F weather, through snow, rain, fog, sleet. They'd been great, and were shipped to me fast. Never any complaints here.

                              life is good.

It only took like 4 days for my HIDs to get to me.

                                I'm very satisified with DDM.
