I refereed at a small woods field for 3 years, best experience of my life. Didn't really have to do anything but walk around in the woods and yell at people.

Here is my current setup, I haven't played for almost a year though, Its pretty expensive without an employee discount.



Smartparts Ion, Halo force feed hopper, 60ci 3500 psi air tank.

I used to have a Tippmann A5 which I modded pretty heavily, after getting past the point of buying a bunch needless performance paintball parts on the A5 I decided to keep the Ion stock. With the force feed hopper I can walk the trigger around 14bps. Its really sad to see that tippmanns aren't made in the US anymore, "made in the USA" used to be the main tag line in their logo.

And here is my "project gun"



Autococker superstock with an E2 electronic trigger. I paid like $200 just for the trigger back in the day. I have never been able to shoot it reliably though. It needs a new ram, sadly autococker parts are getting hard to find for cheap, so who knows if I'll ever get it working.



I love paintball, it really engages the "kill-or-be-killed" instinct with a nice adrenal rush, especially in the woods. The biggest piece of advice I can offer is don't be afraid to get shot, take extreme risks and have fun.

These I custom built. They're Milsig cores with Tippmann A5 accessories, and yes there is a buttstock available that is identical to the one the OP has.

Crossfire 3000ps1 tank
quick release setup
off brand mask
off brand duel pod holder with hpa tank slot.
and random other shit.

The sonix is pretty much stock, except for longer barrel, .45 grips, and different feed for the hopper.

Ive been looking at the Etek3am....shit is really nice, easy to clean, and can be rampped up to 22 bps....fucking crazy.

We play every few months, we actually went this weekend.

It was a blast. Ill post up a video i made.

In the past I would say a Tippmann 98 custom or A5, but I don't know if the quality has changed now that they are made in china...

I know with a good old 98 custom that was made in the USA you could trip, throw the gun into a tree and have it land in a mud puddle, pick it back up and shoot like nothing happened. A very durable marker.

We literally cleaned the rental 98s by just spraying them with water when I was a ref.

We go to New Breed paintball in West Milford, NJ.

We are going to try another field, possibly soon.

LOL im the only dude in the group from this site, but you can bring your ride!

if we go to NJ, i wouldn't recommend bringing a lowered car lol.
