Does anyone with a jailbroken iPhone4 (4.2.1) use gpSPhone (GBA emulator)?

How's that for a descriptive title?

I don't know if anyone has tried it, but I'm giving it a shot. My phone is successfully jailbroken with greenpois0n 6. gpSPhone is loaded, as is iPhoneBrowser to drop the roms in. I have the ROM directory set to match the one at the top of the screen, but none of my ROMs are showing up in the list. As far as gpSPhone is concerned, there are none there...
/private/var/mobile/Media/ROMs/GBA is the directory I'm using.

I've read things about the emulator crashing once you load a game, so I'm ready for that if it happens... but I can't even get that far! Hopefully someone can help, though I'm not holding my breath.

I have a english translated version of Mother 3 or Earthbound 2 whatever you want to call it here in the US. Then again you can't go wrong with playing pokemon ruby either.

Or was an upgrade necessary ?

loving this phone. should have got into this sooner.
final fantasy sim city and tom tom all going to keep me occupied for a long time to come.

If i figure out how to run flash sites like megavideo it's now complete.

sad part is i have ALMOST gone through all the nes, snes and megadrive roms that i consider worthwhile. so iphone apps before gba.

one thing to be wary of i saw something about not updating the apps if they want too. and be careful when time to do firmware updates. theres a slight chance you can be blocked from itunes. supposedly.

Must have been a glitch. The software isn't supposed to let me post duplicate posts within 5 minutes of each other!

I only have one game at the moment. I jailbroke my phone and got this emulator specifically to play one game! See below...

Mother 3 is the reason I did it. As you can tell by my sig (which I'm sure prompted your comment...) Earthbound was one of the GREATEST games ever made.
I'm going to pick up the Golden Sun games (I beat the first one, then my character transfer to the second screwed up... so I didn't play the second one.) As well as the Megaman Battle Network games, because they're awesome too.

I'm gonna need to get an SNES emulator as well... and an NES emulator. I also hear the N64 emu works well.

Yeah, I upgraded about a year ago. The original silverback was giving me trouble with reception, and it was moving horribly slow. Right after I upgraded, Netflix came out for the iPhone... Netflix alone makes the upgrade SO worth it! $130 a month, and I feel that it's fully justified!

i've been tinkering on my friend's droidx and the GBA emulator plays well but the SNES one is kind of weird. When playing FFIII(Locke, Sabin, Terra) in the intro when you are invading Narshe, the graphics for the beam cannon is glitchy. The same scene in the GBA version plays correctly.

I tried a PSX emulator but couldn't find the BIOs file to run it.

Earthbound is one of the greatest games.

They had FF3 (well...6... but yeah, that one!) for the GBA too?

That's also one of my favorite games of all time.

I have a PSX bios file... I should try that too.

Sweet! I knew they re-released it with extra stuff for the Playstation, but I didn't know it made it to the GBA as well!

I used to have a modded original GBA... the black Toys R Us one that was hard to get. I had a backlight installed in it, and bought a flash cart... so basically, I could load roms onto the cart and play any game I wanted. I never owned a single GBA game!
