That being said, 82 is not very hot for a CPU still.

Yeah, especially when the threshold for his CPU is 71C.

Hahaha, well its intensive for the gpu he has. To the OP, when you have the time and money, it really is time to upgrade.

My god, I forgot what counter strike looked like. Its like playing a nintendo game compared to stuff like bfbc2.

        Vs.

Just some cheapy Diablotec brand case. It's got like 5x120mm fans, one blows directly onto the the gpu, one for the hdd, and three that vent out of the case from the top. This computer is completely air cooled the fan that blows onto the gpu, my BIOS says it spins at ~1850 rpms, it's one of those Coolermaster scythe series fans.

Well hell if to guys think that 58'f is too cold, here I was thinking of getting one of those water coolers that is completely enclosed. if I custom build one, I could get a water block for the gpu. hwmonitor said last night at idle, the gpu was hovering around 100'F I think.

I was thinking that was a possibility It could be the psu also. The one I have claims to be 600w and is made by Eagle. I posted the same original thread over on another forum and someone suggested the same thing that my psu might be not strong enough. Then someone else noticed that I had my memory installed in the wrong bank, like I had them originall installed in banks 1 and 2. My mobo Manuel confirmed that I should have originally installed them in the blue banks which are 1 and 3. Maybe its the ram because after playing CSS for over an hour and a half last night, nothing happened. When i say nothing happened, it didn't lock up and buzz at me.

My guess is GPU overheating. The flip side to having fans blow directly on your GPU is that dust accumulates there much easier and more often. I'd say give your entire computer a good once-over making sure to clean dust out of the fins of the heat sync and everything. If your GPU has a plastic cover over that, you should remove it and then dust it off.
              Fix your Computer!

Yeah i'd say there was a really thin layer of dust on everything inside. Between a vaccum and a can of compressed air i think i got everything.
