2012 new year...

Hey tuners, glad to see the site back online, was starting to go a little crazy, but I'm good. Thank you for those who took their time and hard work to getting it back up and running...

As you all know new years is just around the corner, but I'm actually interested in to read what you guys had accomplished this year as far as your 2011 resolutions ...what were your goals for this year and have you succeed them.

Also what are your goals for 2012...whats in need to change and what are you looking forward to? Could relate with, career, your cb7, school , family, life in general...

Might sound girlish but I'm really curious to see what you guys have to say

As for the car, install the rear Bembo slotter rotors, and other minor miscellaneous items to finalize my suspension. Then ride the steelies 'til the weather breaks, at which point I'm planning on seeing my baby with here new shoes.

Then either another motorcycle (still debating over a R6 or R1) or a H22 swap.

Speaking of which, my son and I are on our way out the door to the bike shop.

I dont make resolutions anymore. I dont keep them. I can tell myself a million times that Im gonna cut back on the youjizz, but I know its a loosing battle.

I plan on just keep trying to improve myself everyday. Shit hit the fan for me in 2011 because I had let myself fall into a bad place mentally, physically and emotionally and that cost me one of the most amazing people Ive ever met. So because of that I wont allow myself to fall back into old habits.


I do have a resolution for new years eve though and that is to get my dick wet.....so hopefully I dont get dick not working drunk, which is pretty likely considering who Im going out with.

This year, I hope to start going to the gym. I plan on signing up next week, and I'm not looking forward to being seen as "one of those people" by the staff... It's not a "oh, new year, new me!" deal... it's just the first time I've had a chance to breathe all year!

2011 was busy as hell for me... running around every weekend for all my friends that got married... 10 weddings this year. Had a girlfriend for a few months, but it didn't work out. Dated a different girl every couple weeks after that, trying to find one that was worth my time.
2 minor car accidents, 1 is claiming a bullshit injury. 1 psycho road rager now has me tied up in court. My firm likes to see how long I can survive without a paycheck.
My Fit broke 200,000 miles, and finally experienced it's first (and second) somewhat major failure (clutch and AC).
Got my CB7 started again for the first time in 3 years.

Car Wise: I'm going to finish my cb7 this year, hopefully by summer. At least by the en of it, then around Xmas or so buy my second car possibly. As for me personally, get my license on Jan 23, shed some pounds, get a job when im 16, go to some meets and drag races, and see my gf in San Marcos more when I can drive.

Im not too sure what to expect but 2011 was great, i just hope i have a steady flow of income and maybe move out to a better place however mooching off my mom's place isn't too bad even at 600/month.

I had 2 new year resolutions last year and both came true.

1. Loose weight so I can be healthier and be ready for the firefighter test in 2012.
2. Get my car ready to hit south florida for AFM. Its a 90 coupe. Can't just jump in and do a 20hr drive.

Next year I have new resolutions. I hope I'm a back to back winner!

yea i rarely keep my resolutions. but i guess this year i want to travel outside of the US. even if i cant visit another country, maybe go on a hike/camp trip to Washington or Oregon. Maybe Maine i dunno

I used to make newyears resolutions but have never completed any of them, but this year I plan to finish my swap on the cb, and go to import alliance, I planned to go the past 2 years but stuff happened with the cb, 2010 car wouldn't start, 2011 engine blew half way lol, I do have plans for 2012 though as far as my life goes, 2011 was a crap year for me also

My resolution?

Just try to become a better person and just be thankful for what I do have.

I've seen and been through some shit. Most of my days since high school have been pretty depressing mostly because of my shit attitude towards life. I've lost two grandparents all my great grand parents and a couple of friends. The more I think about it the more I realize how quickly and unexpectedly life can be taken from you. I'm just starting to see how lucky I am to be where I am and to come this far when many people never get the chance to. I've also started to realize how selfish my thought patterns are and how I need to appreciate everyone around me before they're gone or I am.

I don't know I just feel like I've been putting life off and I need to open up and just be content with what I have and strive to accomplish more.
