With a what, 3200# curb weight, while turning most likely heavy 20s.

Even though, these guys arent necessarily after corner carving or some quick 1/4 mile times as some of us are.

I will agree, the ones with excessive camber and -5666 offset wheels look dumb, but a realistic amount of camber and some well fitting wheels are great.

Absolutely, I'd say it's around the average. To those unfamiliar with wheel prices, go and spec out a brand new set of Volk wheels and see what prices you arrive at.

First, your numbers don't add up. Try finding a similarly aged BMW for $23,500-$33,500. Good luck.

Second, I believe the reason they do such a thing is to enjoy the satisfaction of modifying a car, something that I thought everyone on this site would have the cognitive ability to recognize.

Finally, I would venture a guess that the majority of the people that have these vehicles are leasing them. I could be wrong, but I have known a number of people that have leased newer cars while building them. Some ended up as the owners at the end of their lease and others traded the vehicles in before the end of their lease for another vehicle.

So, multiple cars with different colors and different sets of wheels from the same manufacturer are "cookie cutter cars"

By that definition, I'd say about 99% of Hondas out there are "cookie cutter" cars. Even if that is the case, what's wrong with that? If it looks good, it looks good.

to tell every the truth. no one on this site has any right to speak about how much anyone puts into any car. tuner or not. all the people up here running with H22 swaps, full suspension set ups. and other things. all into these cars we got for $100-$2500 and are 18-20yrs old. but everyone wants to get on them about their cars?

and the camber on them isnt crazy. i can see if it looked like this:

        or this:

but these guys are barely running any. its enough to clear the wheels but not enough to look stupid.

I personally think that the 8G coupe is the best coupe Honda had ever put out for the Accord. A CB coupe is second best in my book.

It's nearing that time where I'm beginning to new car shop (actually look and price), and nothing against Accords, but I may have to go with something different. Possibly an American V8. Damn, I do love that 8G coupe fully loaded. I would love one, but another Honda Accord coupe. I just don't know.

msrp on a 08 accord 20-28k roughly. seems about right to me. more for the newer ones. v6-ex is 27k on the main site. leasing is another story completely though. can get any older bmw for that price with much more performance, stance, etc. yes its modding an accord...why should i care? waste of money in my eyes. that is all

Actually, aside from the little bit of plans I have for the CB, I'm considering something with a kick. As of right now, I have this line up:

Challenger SRT-8, Camaro SS 1 or 2, or Mustang GT (possibly Boss 302).

Depending on many factors, that will tell what I end up with with price being a main factor. Trying to stay sub 35-40K makes it harder. I really don't want to spend that much, but sometimes you just have to if it's within budget and reason. Right now it's only in the planning stages, so anything can happen. When it comes down to crunch time, I may not end with any of those; I'm so damn indecisive.

I get your point. Some is just ridiculous. I can understand maybe a degree or two at the most, but not when your tires are like / \.

A good example is Aleks77's car. He's running some camber, but his is livable IMO.

I've never owned anything new. Car, motorcycle, basically anything that considered a big purchase. I'm approaching 30. I want to purchase a new motorcycle to keep for a long time (leaning towards the R6 because that will be consider a super classic some years form now), a brand new car (smae as the bike concept), and a modern up-to-date home. As long as I can afford everything, take care of my son, save some, I should be content for the next 5 years or so. Fun and stability.

think about it....you paid $24,000 for your car and $2400 for a set of rims and another $500+ for tires. do you seriously think someone like that is gonna cheap out on suspension? i thought you were smart for a second.....

see. proof. plus i saw one of the other vids for the blue one and it had a full coilover set up. which im sure had dampening adjustment on it.
whatever, ill outhandle that shit anyday with my cheap ebay coilovers. personally, if i was dumped that low, id rather have the stiff spring rates. you can already see where the tire has rubbed through the paint.
