I love Los Angeles! I can go out tomorrow with a camera and take a picture just like this! Every day is gorgeous..Go bash us about our emission laws on engines. If it helps to make blue skies so be it. Go bash us on whatever...we have sunshine...places to lay back, mountains to ski, hike, camp, oceans to surf, deserts to dune buggy, all within an hours drive.

My car just got hailed on. No damage luckily. Slightly larger than pea sized hail.

        Damn rain.

          1) Trying to cram 20 million people into that much real estate is ridiculously hard on the environment.

          2) While it is nice to pretend that every day looks like that, it is not true.

Let's not forget about the floods, landslides, droughts, and wildfires that have to be dealt with in various parts of California, right around and within LA. Not to mention the earthquakes. On top of that you guys have persistent drought and groundwater issues just like the rest of the Southwestern US.

AZ has bluer, cleaner, skies and we don't have to have the ridiculous rules (most of which are no longer of benefit, but you guys have out of control hippies populations) because we don't try to fit 20 million people in a space designed for 2 million. In fact, the flawed mentallity of thinking CA is the greatest thing since the wheel is a major impetus of you guys moving over here and trying to destroy our state by trying to turn it into California East. Or by attempting to pass legislation that makes us do something we don't want to do so you don't have to deal with it in YOUR backyard (the push to turn AZ into a solar/wind plant comes to mind immediately).

I would take the rain anyday than the BS that goes on over there.

Absolutely pissed rain here since lastnight, all day and have finally let up and stopped within the last hour.

I hate rain. It's so miserable. I hate winter and cold, but honestly, I'd rather take piles of snow over miserable rain.

I really need to live in an arid climate.
