Dont you have a inlet screen for the water going to your sump? I have a saltwater tank but I dont have a sump just a canister filter for now because my tank is not very big.Maple50175 - you're annoying =P

Weird. I was doing research before i set up my tank because I wanted a predator tank with a snowflake eel (which i own now) and I heard they sneak into sumps without the owner knowingOriginally posted by 92smokeaccord View Posti have 2 actually...he some how made it by both....Maple50175 - you're annoying =P

Those eels are sneaky I hear. They always do try to sneak their way to sumps and filters. I was running a canister filter in my 50 gallon. I have had oscularious, perculious and tomato clown fish, all never really had happy enddings ( '-') Note to self never mix lionfish with small fish.
KEEP IT NICE, NOT RICE

I have a canister filter now and my eel is just fine. I actually just feed him the last feeder goldfish I have. He doesnt bother anything in the tank either so thats good. He just sleeps under his rock/sMaple50175 - you're annoying =P
