Mikey i agree with your thoughts on this. I have been doing some side work also. My thought is hey, as long as i am making money and building a customer base, if i am making $20 per hour, thats $20 i dont currently have. My side work is a little more seasonal, but i have learned a lot the last few months and have gotten setup and a lot of things in place to do more next year. The way mine has worked there is times i have made as much as $ 50 per hour so it prob averages to about $30 or so per hour. Stay at it man. You never know what it can turn into in the future.

And best wishes with your new acquaintance!!!

I like working at the dealership for the steady paycheck and full time work, but it's really nice once in a while when I'm in a jam for some cash and can pick up some quick jobs and make some fast money.

I paid off over $2000 worth of bills since March with these side jobs, and bought myself all new detailing tools, such as a new pressure washer, buffer, deep cleaner, 90 degree power polisher and some other small items.

I have to put off my date til next week, as I'm running low on funds to get through the week til pay day at the end of the month.

Trying to sell the coupe right now, but the market is tough right now. Lots of nice clean CB's in comparable condition, mileage and price.

I always pick mine up relatively cheap. The coupe is the most expensive one I bought at $1400, but it was super clean and low miles.

Bought the SE sedan for 800 and sold for 2500.
Bought a 91 EXR sedan for 700 and sold for 1000.
Paid $500 for the charcoal grey EXR sedan and traded it for the SE.
          $1000 for the wagon.
Then a few parts cars for a few hundred bucks.

If I can get $1800-2500 for the coupe, I'll be happy.
