what to i need to record the feed coming from cheap reversing cameras.

I have one similar to this.

want to be able to switch front to rear.

doesn't have to be fancy like streaming the feed...........

I did some Googling and saw multiple forums discussing it....might have some answers for you....can't open them at work, so I can't share them but give it a try.

Id assume that you would either A) use a switch to control front/rear if you wanted it to be constantly recording or B) wire up a switch to the D4 as there is a switch wired to Reverse for the backup camera.....this way when you shift into D, capture/recording is started automatically of front and vice versa.
As far as recording you would need a device that records to either SD or a HDD and then have it be spliced inline with the feed to record what comes through.
