I am curious as to why no one has played with this engine at all. I see K and everything else but the R engine looks like it would have some potential. I see that it is the SOHC of the K and was wondering why it isn't used for mods. Discuss.

That and the fact that they tend to take so much time, effort and money to make any power N/A. it's just so much easier to go with a snail build.Originally posted by deevergote View PostAnd it's not that SOHC hondas love boost... it's just that SOHC Honda engines are generally cheaper to replace when you blow them up.

Exactly. Bisi has shown that the F22A is capable of making N/A power similar to that of the H22A when both are fully built. However, an H22A with basic bolt-on mods will make WAY more power than a similarly modified F22A... which is why stock-block F22A boost projects were so popular (sadly, the old cast internals don't care much for boost anymore...)Originally posted by GhostAccord View PostThat and the fact that they tend to take so much time, effort and money to make any power N/A. it's just so much easier to go with a snail build.
