    K1 Attack.

I have never heard of this before so I wanted to find out what it's all about...

I found this site, it doesn't appear to be their official site but im not even sure who maintains it or what.

From what I can tell its basically built off the front susp of the Accord.

They reference Accords, CTR, and TSX as platforms to use.

I would be highly interested in getting one of these....

not sure what platform i would want to base it on lol.

    http://www.b-racing.cz/en/k1_attack_kit_car_en

Thats the site I was reading.

Anyone have any info on them?

The original one was based solely on a CB chassis. Hacked to shit.
They then made one that was a full kit, not pieces of another car (well, maybe suspension or something... but not a hacked up unibody.)

Now I guess they've progressed to other platforms to base it on.

jhoff, your sig is annoying as shit.

Well excuse the fuck out of me loll.

I searched "k1 attack" and not ONE thread about it on the first page, so I assumed(like an ass) that there were no threads.

I forgot how much our search function sucks lol.

            I think they're sick.

Im not a big fan of kit cars, but this one is cool because it looks like nothing else....for the most part.

I hate kit cars that look like ferrari's etc because its like buying fake rolex's lol.

Better. I don't mind looking at Ferraris... I just prefer that they don't give me vertigo.

And yeah, I had to do Google. I'm quite sure I made a thread about it myself back in the day, but I didn't see one. Maybe it was on a different forum.

The C&D article about various kids mentioned it... and they weren't terribly pleased with the quality. They said the panels didn't fit very well, the instructions were worthless, and it didn't perform nearly as well as they would have expected. That was 5 years ago, though... so perhaps they've improved. They're still in business, at least!

Factory Five Racing got top honors in terms of build quality. The car tested was their supercar kit, based on a corvette. They currently have a new one coming out called the 818 (the name comes from the weight... 818kg... which is light as shit!) That kit can be built for less than $15,000 using a donor Impreza. Mid engine, RWD, 2 seater, roofless like the K1 Attack. The price is right, all the performance requirements are there, the company has a solid reputation for quality. Not based on our beloved CB, but otherwise... if I'm getting a little 2 seater kit car, it'll be the 818!

I like the ideal of a kit car.
Something about building it on your own, in your free time, and enjoying something you built. I would love to have the money to do it.

When I showed my buddy at work the K1, he showed me that supercar I think.

Ill have to look into it.

I agree Jhoff, I think the idea of driving into my garage with a cb and a few months later pulling out a k1 is fucking awesome LOL!

I just not sure if Id be capable of the task....

I have no idea how it even would go together.......and Id worry that id forget one fucking bolt and it would fall apart 1/3 of the way down the road and id have to move to a new neighborhood LOL.

Deev, that 818 is awesome. Ralphie if you want to build a kit car, Id look into that 818.
Why buy an FRS, when you could build one? Itd be cheaper. I wouldnt get a turbo one, but a 2.5rs motor in a car that light would be fun as hell.
