I honestly feel bad for the kid. He got burned pretty bad. But it all began with bad decisions, but the worst on was grabbing the gas can next to an open flame.. sure it would have ignited, but he could have gotten out without a scratch if he hadn't grabbed it. Lesson learned I guess.

How about in the first 10 seconds when it shot flames out the exhaust ports? He wasn't thinking, "gee I should put the manifolds on this thing before it goes up in flames." nope goes right back to cranking it.

                      Exactly.

The entire thing was funny, but then he topped it off by spraying water down the intake.

Did anyone read the link I posted?
                            Doesnt feel like it...

Well my supervisor at work specifically told me that if the carburetor ever caught on fire, just kill fuel and the spark and to keep on cranking so the fire would get ducked back into the motor so that's what I did and it didn't work. (The fuel pump) was still going momentarily because I was freaking out and I accidentally hit the switch and when I realized it was going I immediately turned it off and tried cranking it again and that's when the starter locked up on me
Hes not stupid, hes learning the hard way.

Yea, the real hard way. I read the link. I taught myself how to wrench on cars, but I've never set a car or house on fire doing it! You just have to use some of that thought process while you are working, or you are going to have a bad time.
