Credit Card Swiping Cell Phone Payments, Square, PayPal

Anyone here run a business that uses the Square or PayPal Here type swipers?
I need to find one that is good. I also need to find a phone that I can use that's compatible.
Any recommendations on either would be greatly appreciated.

I'm down to looking at PayPal Here, as I had issues with Sqaure.
They have no 1-800# and if I have a problem with a card, I'm SOL.
I'm also looking at the Samsung Galaxy sII, I HAVE to get rid of my ooooollld flip-phone!

    Thanks Guys .. and Gals!

I have a square credit card reader

I've used it quite a bit

ALOT of the conventions i go to i see people using them as well. Even a guy running a t-shirt stand that brings in thousands of dollars.

Alotta the reviews that I'm reading seem to like paypal.
With paypal, the money is instant. Not so with sqaure.
Also, sqaure will sometimes hold money for up to 5 days.

Being a paypal member, I'm most likely going to go the route.
I also REALLY do not like the fact that square has NO contact#.
Youtube has a few really good videos.

Credit Card processing is not as simple as you think. I've been in this business for years. First off, Square doesn't do a credit check and is NOT a processor for credit cards. They are a Merchant and they're services are done through a flat fee. Square is only recomended for small mobile business solutions that don't process credit cards on a daily basis. If you are processing cards on a daily basis, square is not for you. You'll need to actually get an account with an approved VS/MC/DS/AX processor.

I have both, yet, I haven't used the PayPal Here yet. Square was the first one that I had gotten when I used to sell things on Craigslist a lot. I never had any issues with Square but the fact that PayPal is instant, I'd stick with that one.

Looking for a phone? Who is your carrier? Samsung Galaxy SII is a good phone but it's out-dated already.

I have a galaxy s3 and a square card reader and they work great. But I'm sure an s2 would work just as well with the reader

Keep in mind the Galaxy S3 has NFC capabilities, so it can read cards wirelessly. Not a lot of support for it atm, but the future holds many surprises
