latley every site Im a member of has been going downhill . . . and this "decline" . . . if thats what you choose to call it . . . pales in comparison to any of the rapid collapses on other sites. I really do like it here . . .

yeah....lots of boards are imploding from dumb people joining...some have been all but deserted. it was still better here a year ago when i joined.

Make it a Point

Im just gonna make it a point of mine to be rerspectful to everyone if i get mad at anyone ill take a break and think about it before i make any comments and even still , one of the most common problems is the fact that in typing you cant hear what the person sounds like ,, see for me when me and Adam had a tiny tiny little argument or misunderstanding it was because ive never heard him talk in person and never really had a convo with him and a sarcastic remark sounded to me when read by me like he was being rude BUT in the long run it was me who didnt know him well enough to make such assumptions ,,, lets just say that sarcasm jokes and all that can never be heard properly in typing and that is one of the main reasons people get bent ,, Ricky probably was asking in a perfessional manner for someone to stop saying retard BUT he typed it wich can make " change it or youll be banned sound like or seem like change it or youll be banned asshole " the tone is different and no one can tell over the comp ... I just hope if enough of us keep it real and act like ourselves and not our egos we'll be ok when small dissagreements take place ... PLEASE Everyone KEEP THIS SITE REAL AND CLEAN , I LOVE IT TOO MUCH TO LOSE IT ,,,thanks again guyz

I don't see what the big deal is...this site hasn't changed much from when I got here, and it's better than 99% of the message boards I've been on as far as activeness, content, and member quality. I feel like a lot of the old school heads are a little more impatient with the newbies, and there are some people who come in with real mental issues and stink up the joint, but beyond that it's pretty good. Whenever threads go on forever, it's usually from a good debate or something everyone can relate to, like 'CB7 check-in'...

pertaining to the "other" thread, im on your side fizzbob, cuz i havent been here "forever" but damn near close. although i dont have alot of posts im on here every day reading and reading and reading. i often dont find anything that requires my two cents, but let me say this. I love that what happened happened. ive seen personally two forum boards die becuase of member overrun. i told them over and over again they needed to enforce the rules etc... but no one cared. im glad the mods here take their time to insure the integrity of this board remains intact. I would do the same thing because cb7tuner.com has been a part of my life since 2003 and i'd hate to see it go to the birds. anyways, peace...

I think it's because everyone has posted pretty much Everything about our cb7. Everything has been done or seen but a few select things. I mean you can only go so far ya know? Then newcomers come along and ask the same questions and they get flammed etc. Then when that happens we should sell our cb7's and find a 1979 accord

i couldnt agree more, i know if one mod wasnt here today than things may be out of control.....without that certain mod to jumpstart the enforcing i dont think anyone would of done it in time, i think all the mods here do a great job but admit it all of them besides ricky havent been harsh enough up until a month or so ago (if that) lately shits been getting done the way it should be.....doing things the way ricky does get points across and thats what works.....like stated earlier if you let people walk all over you or give them the chance then they will take it, so fix the problem before it get outa hand. i give props to all the mods here for stepping up but without you know who i dont think it would of happend.

i love this place and i havent owned a cb7 for awhile now and i come here daily, and if you knew mine and ricky's situation awhile back you wouldnt believe he got me back on this site. i love this site and have learned soo much here.

Yea man...all that's really left is the K-series swap; I think anything and everything that could be done to a CB has been documented on this site.

^^ What most of you have said, I haven't been on the boards that much because of life and other things. Not doing so good in this 1 class, that's SUPPOSEDLY will be my major. I can't see myself retaking this class and it has bothered me a lot. I just ain't that kind of STUDENT to begin with.

Anyhow, I think that a little fairness should be brought up. It seems to me that personal feelings are sometimes interjected into the rules and are appointed as the MOD'S RULE instead of a rule for everyone to follow. Mod's make mistakes too but it seems like its so hard for them to accept and they twist things into a different direction. (not saying particularly, but just in general on here, other boards as well).

Being a mod is a status, somewhat like the bbs police. You should enforce but it doesn't mean you can break it as well or abuse ur power.

People swear, post nuddies or whatever, but to isolate one particular WORD because of what the MOD has said = unfair and weaksauce imo.. Its no big deal because this is an online forum, but do you seriously think it is fair to ban people or whatever just because you can?? Yes CB7 tuner is a sight, but w/o people it is nothing really. With out people posting, sharing, helping new people who come from many different levels, it is nothing really.

I haven't been following this 'retard' drama but everytime i do visit, I see something about it. Basically this is an all outs board, if u can curse swear, make derrogitive statements, then a measely 'retard' word, or stereotypical word can't be let go??? Come on now.. I agree that things are in context but let people realize for themselves. They may parade here making comments, but ask them if they've got teh BALLZ to do so in real life. Trust me, it will play out REALL FAST !!!!. You guys are just feeding oil to the fire about these types of things. SOME OF YOU, not ALL. I know people who read and never post but think to themselves, how foolish, how ridiculous.

Again im outties and excuse my grammar, people no doubt will leave if they dont' like it, u can be damn sure about it. The fact that they need or WOULD like a board dedicated to their car or seek help is what keeps them here. They can avoid the OFF TOPIC section if they'd like..

oh well.. mods are cool, but they have to realize that they are the same as us, they bleed like us, they are humans, they make mistakes, they by no means are superior to anyone or should act or feel like it, though sometimes i feel otherwise, again no biggie.. just be fair is all im saying and to keep it FINE lined. black and white, no gray... laters. makes no sense to me if u can OUTLAW 1 word and not others.

Well Again I LOVE THIS SITE AND EVERYONE ON IT . .. simply stated
Cant we all just get along , Mods inforce rules and members listen to them and follow them until you dont like a rule or diciplanary act then you are free to go its not like school when you had no choice and had to obey this place is Rules or Bounce Fair is Fair , no one says you have to like the rules just follow or deal with the outcome if not simple doesnt matter what word or phrase is right or wrong thats too opinionated to even matter its simply about the after effects , if something is said and a MOD says please remove it or rephrase it then obey or deal with the outcome ... its soooo simple , has nothing to do with power and everything to do with Respect for me and everyone else on the board , thanks again for letting me feel free to say what i feel on a board that wasnt mine and isnt mine and the rules are as they are and i will continue to obey them and if not i will be asked or forced to leave ,,,,,
