At work I have a Snap-On box filled with mostly Snap-On tools, and a few assorted Mac, Matco, Craftsman, and Honda special tools as well.

At home I have a little Craftsman box with all Craftsman tools. I don't know why I have this stuff though. They hardly ever get used since I do all my sidework up at the shop anyway.

i personally, think it is a waste of time because when you are under the car and working by yourself, you aint going to get up each time and run to the toolbox and pick out your tool.
i just bring everything to the floor and when im done with the project, i just put it back on my toolbox-less work bench

I have a shoebox filled with some sockets, a ratchet, assorted wrenches, screw drivers and allen keys. I try to keep the breaker bar and WD40 in close proximity.

Jusr bought a new box. Mac 11 drawer tech 1000. 2 feet deep around 5 feet long and about 4 feet tall. Cost a pretty penney but great cuz all i had was a 5 drawer craftsman box. Big difference.

You're not JDM until you have a car built in ohio with tons of bolt ons from ebay.
