Sprint together with Nextel sucks

i was just told the you cant get insurance on a nextel phone if it isnt part of an upgrade or the start of a new plan. You got 30 days if u do upgrade or start a plan to get insurance.

im fucked i just brought an i860 that has a fucked up screen and i was goin to put insurance on it and swap it. but there goes my plan

my only option now is to upgrade to an i200 or something like that which is a free phone but u got to pay 35 dollars for something, then get insurance, then i can change which phone is my primary and get the i860 fixed, what a ride this will be . and less i wont be spendin ova $50 for a new i860 which is hard to find now and cost 150 or more

All righty, how to do the Cell phone run around:
[before i start, insurance is damn near pointless on cell phones, my battery latch is broken and falls out unless i put tape on it, and my insurance doesnt cover my battery. ]

but yeah. If your screen is messed up, phone companies usually have two or more places in any given area and what you have to do is this [to get a new phone] . If your screen is broken, take it to one store and ask them just to replace the screen that is broken. after you've done that [they shouldnt charge you anything] take the phone to the other store and claim its having an electrical problem and your phone just stopped working. Even though you know that the screen was fixed and that the display wouldnt work. Tell them you want a new phone because your phone freaked out on you. and they should replace it. It worked for me, could work for you.
Just lookin out cause cell phone companies are scandelous.

wow, that sucks for you guys, i used to have Verizon, best coverage ever, but i went to nextel for two way, expecting to get bad service cause thas what my friends tell me, but with my i275 it is running like a champ and i have full bars EVERYWHERE and if not i just put up antenna, and bam full bars....i happen to love nextel, and two way works every time i try to use it....? and theres like a million ppl in cali, so in theory youd get worse service, but hey i love my nextel

and verizon has two-way as well, and has for awhile, but no one has it, so its pointless to get.
