He had like 9 heirs. That is like saying my Daddy can beat your Daddy up! J/K! Added together I believe the are worth more, but individually, they are not the richest. You can't really add their fortune together, because they are all in control of their own portion.Originally posted by blkhonda1991the waltons together overtake bill gates i believe
The richest person in history is still John D. Rockefeller. If you adjusted his fortune for inflation into 2006 dollars he was worth well over $200 Billion dollars. All by himself.

Not saying this is the case here, but most people don't consider the slant of what they are reading. They just assume that it is "neutral." In most cases, the media tries to appear neutral when indeed they are not. To some extent everyone is biased a little bit, but some are just blatently biased.
I think that is why there was such a backlash against the media in the last Presidential election. I can stand here all day and cite examples where both sides were blatantly biasing information, and trying to make it appear neutral.

Did anybody say that Wal-Marts facts weren't also biased??? Of course they are.
Considering the slant of what you are reading can be applied universally to any topic, opinionaire, editorial, statistical publication, etc. etc.
Just like when you have two people telling you a story about what happened. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. That is why it is beneficial to us to read AND UNDERSTAND everything we can find about a subject BEFORE we make up our mind. It gives us the power to make the most objective decision or judgement possible.
