besides, for them to be a fad, they'd have to be popular. i mean they're huge in the uk, but they have yet to get any real airtime and charting singles in north america, so i think they're still far from being trendy yet. they've just begun to break the ice. not saying they won't be a fad, but it's not now and won't be over for a while.

arcade fire is a trend. way hyped. but i support em and am proud of them cause they're local though.

no no, it's coo. you prolly the only other person on here that's heard of em anyway. just thought you may also have a particular disliking towards them because you're in TO, and compared to anywhere else here, they're the biggest in toronto so you might be already sick of whatever's happening with them there. but elsewhere we can always go for more DFA.

i mean, they've only played on conan and were invited to tour with NIN and queens, so they're prolly well on their way. but cool dudes, cool music IMO, cause it's way to catchy.

I've seen the commercial and it did suck. It didn't offend me, but I thought it was BS the way they put apple up on a high horse, when in actuality, they're basically useless computers.

Thats bullshit, anything with a UNIX back end is NOT junk. Microsft....is junk. The only thing you cant do on a Mac is play games, other than that they are far superior
