Thats bullshit, anything with a UNIX back end is NOT junk. Microsft....is junk. The only thing you cant do on a Mac is play games, other than that they are far superior

I dunno ive used adobe suite on Mac G5, was not impressed at all, quite often it would crash, unexplainable errors, freezes. Here the suite runs perfectly on a 3 year old P3 800. So far ive been unimpressed by Mac and their fancy ass looking bs.

Being in the Graphic Design industry, I would have to say, Macs are far more superior in use of their processors. The programs we use push it to its limits, while running, say, three intensive programs at a time, the Mac still goes strong. Also, MacOSX is MUCH cleaner than WinXP. Intels are fine for gaming, but multitasking (even with "HT Technology" - what a load of shit) sucks balls.

i used to be a big gamer..but i just dont have time anymore.

games are the ONLY reason i still have a windows partition on my laptop. it makes me cringe everytime i have to boot into it. and the support for gaming has NOTHING to do with windows being a better OS, its simply because thats what people have in their homes, so thats the platform developers write their games for.

Yes, and they're talking about how the Intel chip is now "free", rather than being trapped inside PCs (Apple never before used Intel chips). Therefore, they're knocking on PCs. People who are heavily into PCs take such an attack personally... just as if someone were to come on here and say "the F22 engine is finally free in the far superior Celica chassis"... How many of you who want to call names would get all up in arms if someone came here and posted that? Can I call you a pussy then?

The only thing more annoying than a whiner is a buch of people who think they're cool because they can make fun of them on the internet. Way to go guys! When I grow up, I want to call people names on the internet too!


On topic now... I think the commercial sucks as well. It's mudslinging... I hate it when politicians do it, and I hate it even more when corporations do it. A commercial downing PCs (which don't all have to be Microsoft based) is NOT going to sway me to the Apple side of things! Poor marketing, IMO. The only people who find that amusing are those that are already loyal to Macs... and many of those people may NOT like the idea of Intel chips being incorportated into their already stable and familar design!

people are takin it pretty hard that I was slightly offended by it, sorry guys I just thought that without pc, there would be no Intel at all and now there using their original client base to sell the chip. Will pc users be more inclined to buy into Apple now that they have Intel support?
