Undecided, what should I dooo!!??!

Okay.. well me and my best friend were talking today and we have this thing where we have most of our stuff almost the same, but diff colors and minor different styles. He came up w/ an idea and since he has a 92 Civic HB that he's gona run LS/VTEC and his old 90 Civic HB he said I should get a teggy of some sort 90-93 something i've always wanted.. or go get a civic like his EG. But I told him I didnt wanna stoop that low and waste $ on a civic.

Well he came out and said that he'd give me his old EF(90 HB) for little to nothing. And since he's going the LS/VTEC route he has a spare jdm b16 motor laying around. He said he'd give me the car and the motor for practically nothing. The motor needs a new head, and some other minor work but other than that its clean as hell.. oh and also i'd need a tranny. He's got all the mounts and everything to convert for a obd1 conversion to do the b16 since he originally was gona go LS/VTEC in his 90HB, but things changed.

So basically for half the night i've been thinking what if I sold the CB7 after I got the headswap in and everything, and cleaned her up a bit and sold it for as much as I could get out of it. Then I could go off, get his civic, do the b16 swap, and build it a little w/ the extra money and buy an LSD tranny.

The civic already pretty much looks good. TYC Tail Lights, JDM Wing, Wings West Mid-Wing, Decent headlights, Clear corners, a Decent bumper and a interior swap. I've been thinking about this pretty much a lot. And its seems really tempting.

it's really up to you...if you want then do it.

i want to put a h22 into a 92 hatch but i could never give up my accord just for that civic.

so choose your options wisely...hopefully these decisions wont haunt you forever.

man, for me that would be a hard decision as well. I duno man, I dont think I would sell the cb7 tho. I would work my ass off to get the civic since its so cheap. but I would NOT sell the cb.

Yea thats a hard decision...specially since its sooo cheap....Im sure that it will all work out in the end tho and youll be happy with watever you choose....do you got ne pics of the civic?

I can get pics of the civic tomorrow and post 'em up. But yes this is a hard decision because i'm getting the car for free and I really dont wanna sell the cb7. The thing is i'm negative in the hole because of a situation w/ selling a part w/ paypal and shit. And as of anytime I cant get any other of my spare parts sold anywhere on this board or any other board.

I'm looking at about a good 500$ for a head and a little more work. The tranny alone would cost me like anywhere from 300-900$ for a jdm LSD. I'm so confused right now because it would be bad ass to have almost the same cars, but just diff years and yeah. But in the back of my mind I dont really wanna sell the cb7...

well if your getting the car and the motor, for as little or nothing, then keep your cb. get both imo.

I dont know what you should do. What are you trying to say go all tegg over the H22 Accord or what? If so H22 Accord. Dont get me wrong Im a big fan of the eg, ek and 92-93 teggy's but I would go H22 Accord any day over them.

No... I aint got no H22 in the Accord but the deal is.. if I keep the cb then I wont have enough $$ to get the b16 swap in the EF. So yeah thats my problem.

do the h22 in the accord no cici will be able to mess with you allmotor even with a gsr in it they have no torque whatsoever. Just lighten up the car throw an lsd in the whip and your set with some good nice decent tires trust me.

I know... I sold my 92 sedan and bought an EG and dropped an F22 SOHC in it... it was cool for awhile and I was the burnout king and all ... but after awhile I just noticed one day that I like the CB chassis and interior so much better... I was over my civic phase and vowed never to go back...

but some people are truly civic people... but I've noticed since I've been back in the CB world that it is just a slightly more unique platform and the CB community is cooler by far as a whole... more laid back, generally more mature...

I can't even count how many high school kids in EK's and EG's... (and even some EF's) would talk shit and act all noobish and just stoopid... It was kind of personally embarassing to me even being associated with them by the mere fact I drove the same kinda car...outside people really perceive you differently and treat you differently...

I caught alot of attitude when I drove the civic... alot of random people wanted to race, I got pulled over more often and more people would talk shit...

it was kind of a culture shock compared to driving a CB for years and years and years...

I dunno how many people would just come up to me at a gas station or a store or something and just start asking about the CB and/or talking general car stuff... it is a much more positive experience IMO...

people are really blah about Civics...

I'd get a DA or DC before ever stepping back into the civic world... bleh...

I tip my hat to you sir. zigen is absolutley correct about the civic owners being cocky. I cant even count how may time i got approached by that situation other peopel during meets. Like the time i went to the palisades mall and there was 2 civics that came up out of nowhere after seein all these cb7's and he had the nerve to come up to one of us askin for a race i told him ill race him and how much hes got he was like yeah im runnin this and that and im wheres the money then he thought about it why is this guy and his accord is so eager to race me. Then he started talkin about how much our cars race i kept replying to him wheres the money and then he left.

Heh well the thing is Sparkle.. i'm not goin H22 wise. I aint got enough $ for no damn H22 LSD swap. But I do have the F22B DOHC and I do plan on going the turbo route so yeah. Maybe you guys are right about the whole civic situation. I never really wanted a civic ever because I thought they were all so overrated. And as far as lose some of the weight I think i've lost quite a bit from removing the blower motor, ac evap core, heater core, ps, all the ac and componets, cruise, extra shit in the trunk, and the backseats.
