I admire anyone who is into their car. If someone is totally passionate about their "ricey" car, I'm down with that. If they do what they do because they like it, more power to them. I'd suggest other, more tasteful things, perhaps... but I'd never say he was wrong! The only cheap-o ricey parts that ARE "wrong" are the mechanical and safety parts. If someone cheaps out on something that will damage the car, or put them or others at risk, THEN I have to open my mouth! Then it's not a matter of taste, it's a matter of education.

basicly. dont go on ebay and buy some off brand struts just to save on money. get it right the 1st time.
when it comes to tuners i dont even look at age. everyone around me at a meet is ageless to me. the fact is that their there. im like Deev. i respect you if your a true tuner. one who doesnt care what others think of what kind of car you have. you keep this one thing in mind. its your car. your money. and YOUR imagination. no one elses. just stay safe with your tuning

Someone with an 86 Civic with spinner hubcaps and an LED muffler tip that LOVES their car and what they've done to it gets more respect from me than some douchebag that just throws down lots of money for a car he doesn't really care about, other than the status it brings.
That's a bit extreme... but still true. Not to say I wouldn't laugh at the Civic, and marvel at the expensive car... but I'd rather talk to the Civic owner, honestly.
