Just curious as to why people keep painting their bumpers to look like a dx? If you've got an lx or ex with black bumpers it'll never be as cool as a dx EVER

i think it kinda looks good tome. i think its the contrast that of the car. it maybe a white, grey(like mine) or burgendy then you have a black bumper. i did it because of the contrast. i painted my hood, front bumper, AND trunk lid flat black. to me it looks better that way to me.

look at JDMHondaGuy. doesnt his car look hot with the black bumper and CF hood?

Not black by a LONG shot.

It's kinda blue-ish, grayish. I duno. It's similar to deevs, but a bit lighter and a little more blue as well.

ah. kinda like my 1st cb7. it looked black from a distance and sometimes when your standing right next to it. but if you put your face to it then youll see the dark blue. it was the same color as TypeG's car. just not as clean and shiny as his. lol.

i did. but you cant tell due to the fact that my paint isnt shiny enough to see the difference. you will once i repaint the car this winter.

lol ironically enough i was gonna paint the bumpers and skirts on my camaro black, but i didnt want it to look like i was in a wreck and couldnt afford to respray them the correct color.

Ok well in my defense I only did it since my bumper was primer. Once i cut the holes for the fogs/ intersection lights it didn't look good primered.

I also plan on painting my car black after taxes
