It will be fine. Just make sure no wires get crimped in the way it will be fine.

Have you ever seen the Inside of an ECU... its not made of glass. Three people who have experience doing the same thing they are preaching are telling you it will be fine.

I mean if you want to take the extra precautions go ahead but were telling you it will be fine.

the first time i did it, i tried strapping it down. then i realized it was too much work to access then, and the metal casing it comes built with is plenty to protect itself...

Yep, Im bringing this back up.

I searched Carbonex and it looks like its some sort of additive in some sort of fuel.

Nomex seems to be the material firefighters use, and they make a bunch of other clothing things made of Nomex.

Heres another question. Would nomex insulate heat?
WHat i am thinking is to line the underside of the hood so that the engine dosent cool fast so it can retain its heat and use less gas. Im thinking this for a lot of on off driving with like 10-15 min. in between drives(Pizza boy or something like that). 'Cuz that can save a LOT of gas when its cold outside you dont have to reheat your engine back to Op. Temp. every five minutes.
