Gorgeous, I've had the chance to drive my friends type R while he had it (RHD, 96 ITR) and it was the best handling car I've driven, I drove it stock and after he had his BC coilovers in it. What a great car, you'll enjoy it the more you drive it. The red seats are what absolutely make it for me.

I believe another difference is the thickness of the chassis steel. RS/GS is 1.6mm and I believe Type R is 1.8mm

Thanks everyone! I have been contemplating taking the car to the track, I have some good tires and there's a really nice lapping track around here, I just dont want to mess anything up..but I know its made to drive around a track

I ask the differences because I see Integras all the time in my city. I have seen one typeR and wondered if it was real, or a GSR with the lip kit and spoiler.

His car is sporting the full oem lip kit with the fogs, freshly rebuilt head with a brand new short block from Acura as well.

Only thing I don't like? 5th gear winds out too fast and makes long trips just a p.i.t.a

I brought the itr back from Toronto about a 5 hour drive and I really enjoyed it..I guess its because I was comparing it to my cb7 which I can't bring anywhere..lol

It's been a long time since I drove a stock h22a, but IIRC the stock h22 was a blast to drive...however you're right the b18c5 is a little more fun because of the gearing and the higher rev lmiter.
