    D17A2 Vtech Valve Adjustment

Anyone have a write up or can point towards the right direction as to how to adjust these valves on this engine. I think Im missing something, did this job twice and it still sounds like a John Deer. Ive search high & low in the civic forums and found nothing.
    Thanks

I'm going to assume you used a manual or guide the first two times you did this. So there are probably other factors involved here which is making the sounds you are hearing. Worn lobes, stretched timing chain, bad keepers, improper oil delivery, etc. Only thing I can suggest is to take it to someone more experienced to have it looked at or keep checking things out.

Just got done doing a head gasket job on it, took the head in to a shop to have it resurfaced, new TM and water pump. The only difference is the second adjustment I went loose .009 INT & 011 on the EX, the engine response better with a bit more pull.
Anyone else a lead for me?
      Thanks
