I think it HAD the old WRX engine in it, albeit injustly detuned. It was also hopelessly ugly...

      I'm doing that.

Hyundai Excel. Same mechanicals as the Elantra pretty much and the said 4G63 is a bolt in affair. As well as everthing that implies.

I don't think it looks all that different from a CB to be honest At any rate, most Subaru chassis are all bolt and play as far as engines/transmissions. Wiring is a whole nother issue.

          Don't forget the Festiva.

A B6T with light bolt on will net a low 13 second car, and who in world would ever expect to get stomped by a Festiva???

echo hatch or 1st jen jdm yaris. there was a topic about those a few weeks ago, and there were some pics of 2 or 3 that were pretty tight, notably a black super slammed widebody/fender flared one....it actually wasn't ***. i think i liked it a lot because it reminded me a lot of an original mini cooper that had been raced out or something.

admit that's pretty cool. it's also very vdubish. i'd like to see more pics of that one.

related question....did they ever really have the echo hatch in the states? cause the impression i got from the topic was sounding like most people never really knew it....and when i went to boston (we went down 4 people in this girl's hatch), we didn't see another echo hatch in 4 days, and at that i only saw 2 sedans. (we were actually looking for them because we noticed how we weren't seeing any, and up here, they're just about everywhere)....saw TONS of Prius'....which is odd, cause if anything i'd figure us canadians would be more of the treehugging type...

i heard that they tried the echo hatch in the US for a short time and then took them off...true?

I think you might have saw a Canadian Echo...I know they had the hatchies. I always liked the RS Turbo...but I dunno, there's too much metal between the window and the wheels.

MG, i know from experience they have potential, I've seen in person a 427 Cobra Motor fitted into an MG with side pipes, even tho they are classic's and have dual carbs, you build one of those motors up and straighten the suspension out, youd have a pocket rocket, my mom is always worried about dragging her exhaust on the roads up here, because of the ground clearence...there are plenty of clubs that have built MG's, if built right they have get up and go...

on the topic of Dodge....anyone seen any Dodge Stealth's around? I was lead to believe they are like Dodge's version of the supra, or have I been mislead?
