Yes, 7 'speed', not gears. 7 virtual ratioes. 14, actually, since in S mode, it has a different set of 7 'speeds'. Executed with the touch of a pair of toggle buttons on the steering wheel spoke

I just leave it in CVT mode most of them. Seamless acceleration.

Honda couldve put 21 speeds if they want, but that would be overkill.

the CVT actually has a finite amount of ratios, within a set range.

I love it when I just step on the throttle, and the revs stay at 2500rpm, and the speed goes up.

Well, he loves the fuel economy, but he DD's an 08 City I-DSi. the wifey drives the Stream.

They used to own a 1st gen Stream, before getting the 2nd gen
