    H22a4 in 96 accord

Hi guys haven't been here in a while. I'm in bit of a situation and hope I can get some good help. I'm swapping in a h22a4 from a bb6 into a 96 accord. I would think the accord harness would be plug and play but that's not the case with the injectors. Should I use the stock accord injectors? I would think they would not supply the correct cc's for the engine to run correctly.

I just looked up an injector for a 96 accord, it's say they are interchangeable with a 90(4thgen accord) so with that, I'm assuming I can use injectors from a 92-96 prelude.

it depends on whether or not you have an injector resistor box. what ecu are you gonna use?

Check the impedance (resistance) of the injectors. If they are 2-3Ohm they are peak and hold (Low Impedance) and require a resistor box. If they are 11-13Ohm then they are Saturated (High Impedance) and do not require the use of the resistor box.

        90-97 240cc F22A1, A4 & A6, F22B1 & B2 SOHC injectors are Peak & Hold and require resistor box.
92-95 345cc H22A1 DOHC injectors are also Peak & Hold and require the resistor box
96+ 290cc H22A4 DOHC injectors are Saturated and are run without a resistor box.

Yes I have a resister box from the accord. I'm going to use a jumper harness obd2-obd1 and a p28 ecu

Let me see if u got this right then. The motor in the picture I posted is a 97 prelude engine, in which the injectors are saturated.
I need to swap then out with peak in hold injectors that came from a 92-96 h22 prelude and retain the 96 accord resistor box correct?
Ps. Sorry for the double post you posted right when I replied '93cb7ex

Correct! You can run the OBD1 92-95 345cc peak and hold injectors with your Accords stock resistor box. Or you can delete the resistor box and run the stock OBD2 H22 Saturated injectors with some new injector wire clips.

Really late reply but thank you GhostAccord I got it figured out with your help, now to figure out the distributor wiring

                    Just buy a obd2 - obd1 jumper. $35.

Or rewire it for one plug. I rewired mine and have had no problems with it. The wires were all the same just a cut the two plug off and solder the 1 plug Obd1 plug in.
