Well my buddy and I had gone to the store got some things packed away in the turnk and had just left Cold Stone after some ice cream.
I hit the redlight outside Cold Stone and noticed next to me pulls up some young guy in a GTI (00-01 thereabouts). HE was texting-
and the light went green so I moved away quickly but not crazy. Well the guy in the GTI finally finishes texting and then goes but by this time I am through the next light which was yellow 3 seconds or so later HE runs the crap out of it (RED) to chase to catch up to me.
The road bends uphill to the right and has a 50mph sign he tries to catch me up the hill but can't close the gap.
We get to a straight section of highway and he closes up on me and as soon as we go by a car in the right lane he dodges right, I had it in D3 with "sport" button on, grab a quick downshift and I matt it at about 60mph.
He slowly...slowly...slowly creeps up on me to where his quarter was at my front fender and we were fairly even with him maybe inching...(I noticed he closed his sunroof and windows and mine were all open...
)THEN HE CHANGES LANES RIGHT ON TOP OF ME....I guess he thought he was by me...I guess he was crazy or still texting.....
Needless to say I coulda stayed where I was an caused a huge wipeout but I hit the brakes hard-ice cream flies and my buddy (an ex martial arts fighter is now pissed at the GTI guy). Rather than contribute to the crime rate by catching up to him and well you can imagine the rest...I drove slow and let him go.
Be careful WHO you race and WHERE guys !!! I am keeping it on the track or autocross course. Too many crazies out there.

....this wasnt close to being a race unless you forgot to mention that he reved his engine or did a ricer fly by maybe even flashed his lights but i believe just by reading the story either he knew you, or he wants to get to know you
...imagine if you didn't see him creeping and then he did that to you?...
