South Carolina HWY run and State Trooper

man it suck i might not run into one of these convoys on my way to GA tonight since its my first time going there without it being a holiday weekend

hitting the dragon on my way home on the 25 though

"WHEW" is f*king right, lol, I had a kinda similar scenario not too long ago. I was out at about 2am, just out for a drive around town. I was on a main road, 40 limit, and right after I hit a railroad crossing I just go for it and get up to 75 or so in no time flat (damn, I love my H!). Not too far up the road a cop was sitting in a parking lot with his headlights on, and of course I don't notice this until I'm just about right up on him. So I slam on the brakes and get down to 40-45. As I pass, he guns it out of the parking lot and follows me for about a mile and a half. RIGHT on my ass. I eventually hang a right into a neighborhood and he decides to keep going straight. Never pulls me over. On my record just one small speeding ticket forever ago and a ticket for a cracked windshield a few months prior.

There was a time before that, too, at almost the same exact location, when I passed a cop waiting to get out into traffic. I didn't know he was there. A friend was following me in his dad's Jeep and I was thinking I'd get ahead real quick so we could drive side-by-side. I peel out and soon see 80 on my speedo as I'm crossing into the right lane. The cop was on the right, trying to go left, and was looking the other way. Just goes to show how quiet my car is, he never even turned his head before I slowed down just short of him.

For the record, I don't normally drive like this asshole, btw. But surely you all understand that when there's a 'safe' opportunity to do something, every now and then you can't help but give into the urge.
