I love the blue one too.
I own a black manual sport one. 35,000 miles now. I never get more than 32mpg unless it's an all highway trip. I don't drive like an ass or a granny. But mpg isn't on the top of my list as to why I bought it.

I'm going in for the recall this Saturday.

I posted a story about my tangle with an older mustang.
My car is slow. And like most hondas it's really slow unless you keep it above 4k.
I plan on slapping the JR supercharger on with the high boost(10psi)when it's available. Looks like we might be able to just get to or under 200whp. Crossing my fingers for the most. Then I'll have a low 14s car and that'll be good enough, esp. coupled with the handling...

I will be getting bronze 16" rims in a few months with Eagle F1 tires. And then replace my Progress springs with full coilovers. It handles good now and it's turning precision makes our CB7's feel like whales. Even now with just springs and rear bar I still have some body roll but it takes corners better than 90% cars out there. Wait till I'm done my suspension mods and I'll take anyone in the area for a ride and I'll promise to make you throw up.
I love when a car passes me on the highway, then we get to a turn and I actually accelerate into it and pass the guy. Makes my friends riding with me nervous. There's an oh shit handle inside.
Brakes are good and shifter is really good.
Just needs that extra 50+ horses to be truly enjoyable.
          Metal Metal and more Metal!!!

How much does your wheel/tire combo weigh? Post here!

They have potencial with the weight-to-horsepower ratio, but you gotta really like driving an astetically un-appealing car.

In my opinion, id ratherput a turbo f22 in a Geo Metro.

            Good kill
I know this post is from the middle of the first page... but I just HAVE to reply...

Most Fit owners like how they look. Honestly, they look pretty cool. My only beef is the rather tall appearance, but you appreciate that from the inside!

The Fit was around before the Aveo. Therefore, the Aveo is a really crappy ripoff of the Fit (unfortunately, I do get the two mixed up at a quick glance!)

The Fit IS the new Civic. The Civic has moved up to fill the slot that was occupied by the Accord through the 6th generation. The Civic is no longer a tiny economy car.

The Geo Metro had a turbo variant... or rather, the Suzuki Swift/Cultus did (which is what the Metro was). Turbo F22 into a Metro TOTALLY defeats every purpose for owning a Fit. It'll get crappy gas mileage, you won't be able to fit a Twix in the trunk, it's uncomfortable, poorly made, and will likely be unreliable for all the custom work.

Of course, going by the mangled attempts at using big words, I can't really expect a very competent argument here!

As for your Fit, Nick... I totally agree. The thing handles like a beast. I was shocked to see how well it did with that rear suspension setup! The acceleration was lacking though... Coming from my H22, it felt like the Fit was broken when I drove it! An extra 50-80hp will DEFINITELY wake it up. Especially with the instant torque provided by a supercharger!

There is alot of truth to the presidents award. We are three years running at Honda Of Fife. The Fit is a blast to drive, even though it wont win a race its like a big go kart, especially with the paddle shifters. I drove the first one on our lot haha

we gutted a fit at my shop to put a overhead screen in. we had to pull the headliner because there was no mounting brackets.

he told us later in the install he wanted to put a 50 inch plasma screen in the back....

he barely spoke any english... we had a good laugh. we charged him like 500 bucks to install the over head and pull the headliner. they come apart very easily and go back together even easier. being a hatch makes it easy to get the headliner out too.
