I believe it comes out because the axle sort of acts like a plug and when you remove the axle the fluid comes out. I don't have LSD and it did this to me during the swap when the pass. axle wouldn't stay in.

Just replaced the pass. axle since its been klunking since the 408 meet in Nov. Made 2 trips back and forth to autozone because they gave me the wrong axle. Now I have fresh axles and been driving the swap for only about 2 months.
