ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    lowering stock seats

Hey, first post here. I have a question about a seat modification. I have a 92 ex-r coupe and would like my seats mounted lower. I`m a little on the tall side and feel when im sitting in a sporting driving position the seats are a little to high...pedals and shifter too low and im looking out the upper half of the windshield. What could I do to the seat rails/bracket so that they sit maybe an inch lower? Of course I would want it all to appear and function in a very stock way. I`m not interested in aftermarket seats or swaping in other Honda seats, the car has to appear to be stock.

Honestly there really isn't much you can do to the rails themselves.
The only thing I could suggest would be to have the seat foam base modified by a trim shop to be 1" lower, and made firmer to support the loss in height

A "Finished" project car is never finished until its been sold.

If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.

I have two cd accords. One with power up and down and one without. The one with power up and down goes about an inch and a half lower.

Hmm those del sol seats are nice...
My big problem is that i have that vintage red interior...so nothing looks right. That and the way im building the car...complete stock appearance...unless its something very subtle it wont work otherwise i would have thrown some sparco at it by now. Maybe i should look into changing the interior color? Is that possible?

                  Hey abs-lsd,

I have a JDM Integra driver's seat; it will sit about 1.5" lower and fit the CB with minor modifications.
Let me know if you are interested, I can probably get you another matching seat. BTW, Greyhound can get the seat to Montreal in hours
