Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    My DIY Blackhoused project

    Ok so i started about an nhour ago got my bumper and one headlight off, then the wife had to go to work so i had to suspend my project till later tonight, BUT im going to do the one head light and post pictures, im doing the corners while they are off too, blackedhouse corners with amber reflectors xD

    I got

    Kylon yellow stain glass paint
    Rust-oleum BBQ and stove paint.
    silicone sealant from HomeDepot.
    ^^^ this is what i need help on i got the silicone II 100% silicone sealant does this serve the purpose or is there another kind i should be using?

    when you take the cover off and paint it. stick the cover on and put the clips on then stick it into the over. the stock glue will be good enough

      so this sealant isnt any good, id like to seal it again to make sure it doesnt seperate or leak. so anyone that knows a good kind of silicone sealant let me know.

                Good job on ur 1st diy blk house job.

                Some 1 said if u put enough yellow on the corners it wil turn amber, I dunno about that, jus sayin.

                I took apart my corners with a heat gun, oven melted the 1 piece where the screw goes into.

                  yall notice the center reflector that covers the low beam bulb is the same color as the high bean half moon i thought that was a sick touch,.

                    even did the corners too, but they are just temp till i get new ones to fool with because as i was taking them apart i noticed they are 2 different kind of sidemarkers one has a big reflector and the other has a smaller one that is built into the clear cover. weird

                      lol one is a 90-91 and one is a 92-93! lol

                      yeah i saw you did the cover on the low bean, nice touch
