ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

its camber...and with a 1.5" drop your not going to notice much and youll be wishing you had gone at least 1.8" which you can get away with no problem with the camber it will produce

Yeah seriously. That ain't even worth it, IMO. Like dude said you ain't even gonna hardly notice a 1.5" drop. Camber kit ain't a big problem tho. I would just go with a lower drop and then camber it up.

Some people get lucky and get away without a camber kit. You'll just have to lower it first and see. If you go 1.5" you'd be safe with a cheaper shock like the kyb gr2's everyone's been mentioning, but not stock shocks.

If you go any lower, I would think about a stronger shock though. Tokico HP's, Illuminas, Koni Yellows or Reds, KYB AGX's, etc.

One thing you might wanna consider is....

                  Decent Drop Springs - $220+
Struts that won't blow out in a month - $300+

                  if your thinking ground controls...
Ground Control Coilover Sleeves - $300-350
Struts that Won't blow out in a month - $300+

So right there your spending $520-650 on only a decent setup. When you could at least get some Function Form full coilovers for only about $680 shipped. And these allow you to adjust the bottom of the shock body to lower your car instead of actually adjusting the perch.

The f-1's have no damping adjustment though. For 600, you may as well get the neuspeed super cup kit. The shocks have 5 perches of height adjustment, and the shock rebound is adjustable on the car.

Personally, I believe the cup kit suspension is superior to the type-1's in terms of performance.

Now if you want to talk about f-2's then thats different, but that's also probably getting out of this guy's price range.

that looks shotty to me, looks like cheape shocks painted blue with tokico stickers, and i've never heard of KCR springs, like ever!

i wouldn't buy it, I've never seen a decent manufacturer paint over the bushings and have it peel with out it being used..

i'm going to say they're knock offs

one more thing, kcr's don't even have a legit website, look em up on google, all you get ebay bids. pure crap!!!

                                3 rules:
                                -Dont go generic
-you get what you pay for
-if you drop it a lot ur alignment may need to be adjusted

They rise their wooden pints and they yoik and sing
And they fight and dance 'till the morning
