ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Lexus projectors??

I found a set of lexus projectors online that have smaller dimensions then the TSX projectors

    TSX
    Max Length: 145mm (5.70 inches)
    Max Height: 80mm (3.15 inches)
    Max Width: 115mm (4.52 inches)
    Lens Diameter: 2.5"

    Lexus
    Max Length: 140mm (5.50 inches)
    Max Height: 76mm (3.0 inches)
    Max Width: 108mm (4.25 inches)
    Lens Diameter: 2.5"

Any reason not to retro these in??
Im looking at picking up a set and there cheaper then the TSX and smaller

i would only be questioning the cutoff. since tsx has one of the best cutoff for the size. vs the s2k one that is huge.

you could always give it a shot. something new and different is always a nice way to go. and agreed with what tommi said above, tsx has one of the best cutoffs if not the best out there. s2k is amazing too but it's a big projector

as long as they fit, then do it dude! I did mine in 2 days b/c i was so excited. Some people take forever, but it really doesn't take that long if you have the drive and creativity.

Yeah i think in February ill do it the next paychecks are going to drop my car...

And i know he'll hold onto them for me...

A smaller projector seems like it should be easier then the TSX right?

well, if i were you, I'd put the biggest projector that can fit in there. B/c the bigger the projector, chances are, the better the light output in the end. I think a lot of people go w/ the TSX one b/c it maximizes the amount of space used, yet fits w/in the constraints of the CB headlights.

The lense is the same size so im pretty sure the light output would be nearly the same if not better because of lense clarity
