Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    color match the air intake. put some shine on the hoses . it looks good as is .

              I've seen some AWESOME engine bays on this forum, but I think mine looks pretty ok....



              Some powder coating on the valve cover, brackets, new hoses, braided lines, and a couple of polished items is all. I'm going to do a small wire tuck soon, which should clean it up a bit, but I'm happy with it so far.

                Your keyboard problem will lead to people not reading your posts. You can usually find a keyboard that works fine at the thrift store for about $2-3.

                First thing to do is clean the bay well, it's not bad but it could shine (Use some gunk engine degreaser and a stiff brush to get rid of stubborn grease and dirt). Don't be afraid of getting a little water into the harnesses, they're made to be exposed and you're not going to hurt anything. Then work on making the wires and vacuum lines lay out nicely. Paint your CAI something besides flat black. The main reason is that black absorbs heat and the more you heat the air coming in, the less power you'll get. Speaking of the CAI, is that hose coming off the CAI tube connected at the other end? It looks like it's just laying there. If it is, you want to fix that.

                This is the dirtiest mine ever looks.

                      upon looking at that pic i guess it doesnt stand out much but witht he right colors it would and the tuck helps to clean it up and draw your eye to the engine.

                        Here's mine, this was taken last summer, shorty before I lost all interest in doing anything with my car.



                        I've since started deleting the a/c, so the lines that are in this pic are gone.

                          thats a nice looking bay nine. are there any full tuck engine bays on here? ive never seen a cb fully tucked.
