ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Front bumper question

    OK heres the problem...

    im looking at getting http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...i00092052.html

BUT to stay with in the law and so i don't fail a warrant of fitness(its a road worthy inspection cert basically) i have to have front direction indicators. i know ill have to buy after market ones but i don't want anything that's gona make it look *** or protrude to much.

    so any suggestions?

OH and they have to be amber or white.

Stay with amber ones rather than white if you can.

      The WOF requirements are:

Indicators must be visible from 100 m during normal daylight and 200 m in normal darkness.

It must emit a light that is visible within angles of
      a) 15˚ above and below the horizontal, and
      b) 45˚ inboard, and
      c) 80˚ outboard.

You can buy them from your local Repco, or Supercheap.
Your best option would be to have a look a Hella's website and get something from there.

yeah i was trying to avoid super cheap or repco lol iv seen there light selection and its ugly man.

yeah ill give the Hella site a try.

im also trying to avoid having to cut holes in the front bar to accommodate the indicators. but i guess ill have to do what has to be done.

another idea is to change the corner park lights in to indicators but then ill have no park lights.

On my car the Parks and the bumpers flash at the same time. Im not sure about the New Zealand cars. You can always wire that up to do so. Not sure if that would be legal in you area or not.

USA parks have 2 bulbs, 1 for marker lights and one for direction.

Madpol - You can't use the parks as main frontal indicators as it doesn't meet WOF requirements.
Also its hard to find a bulb that is bright enough to fit in the small space.

Question, how low does your car sit now? To me, your going to have some serious clearance issues with that bumper if your car is slammed. I have clearance issues on a stock bumper with stock lip.

Just a word of caution about that site... they're known to send the wrong product... and that could be a serious hassle if they're sending it all the way to New Zealand! Personally, I would never order from andy's auto sport.

They wouldn't be in business if they screwed everyone... but I've known too many people on this site alone that have had bad experiences with them for me to feel comfortable trusting them. The one person (a moderator) that got the wrong body kit sent to him had a hard enough time rectifying the situation within the US. I woudln't want to know what a nightmare it would be trying to do it on the other side of the world. Hell, when people in NZ are awake, people in the US are asleep!

Cuz there's nothing like sitting on the phone at 3am on hold for half an hour.

my car is sitting on super low springs and i have plenty of clearance with the OEM front bar so with an after market front bar it should be sitting real nice.

this is how my car looks now...

so as you can see its not major low.
im actually disappointed in how far the super lows did lower it...thought/hoped it would be lower as in rear wheels sitting under the guards
