ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    window has trouble going down

For some reason my Windows on my passenger side have trouble going down and up....what is it that I can do to stop this from happening? What do I use to grease the tracks? Also the back window will not go up all the way, about a 1/4 of an inch. It is at the end of the track....how can I adjust it to go all the way up?

your back window is probably off the track, as for the front one mine does the same exact thing. I may not be 100 % correct but i think its the motor going, well mine just goes slow as hell whether the car is on or off( i just havent ripped open the panel to check yet)

motor may need to be replaced?

you can lube window tracks with silicone spray, roll window down, spray exposed tracks at top half of door, then use straw from can and spray between window and track for about 15 seconds so silicone spray will run down between window and track.run window up and down several times

motor could be weak mine does it all the time in the back if i roll it so far down ill have to reach in the back and help it back up cause the motor is almost shot man. that could be a possibility for sure

before you start pulling things apart, clean and inspect the tracks/rails.

for your rear window. a piece of the track may have broken. and stopped it from going up all the way. this seems to happen a lot.

theres an diy to do both of these. good luck.

I have to check mine also. My rear passenger side has trouble going all the way up. It just leaves a small crack open. It usually shakes when it is almost fully up.

My windows have trouble going down because they get stuck on the rub strip mounted on the door panel. Have you also run into this issue?

X2... I had trouble putting my drivers window down because the felt that backs to the window on the inner chrome strip had worn down in addition to tinted windows made it even worse. After replacing my inner strip (its held in place my metal tabs which bend easily making replacement a breeze) my drivers window now works great.

alot of times on accord, the rubber insert in the tracks will start to walk downwards, as they slide downwards they bunch up, causing my drag on the window, roll the window all the way and then try to slide the rubber up again. after that lube them with a silicone spray. i did this to my buddy's 4 door and they work great now. hopefully this will fix your issues
