ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Extra Seat

ok I have a 93 wagon but still dont have enough room for the family to all ride in the wagon

Is there any way to add an extra seat in the back were the spare tire is??

and if yes does anyone know if it is legal to do it and how hard it would be to do??

I would not do it, you never know how a passenger would take a rear hit in a collision without crash testing it. Also, you'd have to provide seatbelts and you'd be unable to tap into the vehicle's SRS system. Not a safe idea.

Yea,I have been thinking about how safe would be..I know that another style wagon came factory with a seat back there so I was thinking that it might work but safety has to come first

The wagon you're thinking of is from the 60s or 70s, though... nothing like today's safety conscious designs (and cars back then were much less safe than cars today!)

I wouldn't do it. Especially since it'll most likely be your child sitting back there... definitely not worth the risk! Plus, it could very well be illegal.

You could always upgrade to an Odyssey. The 1st generation Odyssey LX can hold 7 people. It's still Accord-based (there's even an RA1 Odyssey subforum on www.cd5tuner.com, this site's sister site.)

How about the Honda pilot. It seats 8 and just as much room and same features almost and has optional AWD. beats the minivan look.

Yea..i have looked at an 08 Pilot and really like it so I am sure there is going to be an upgrade soon and just let the wagon be the project car!!

The Pilot still sells for quite a bit more than an older Accord or Odyssey, though.
