ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Do something like what? What I did above? Sheesh, it's not like I shot a raccoon and taped it to my door. Like I said, it made me feel more at home. I'm not trying to resell it.

Hm.. thanks.Originally posted by dejan225 View PostOk man. It's your car and I'm glad you love it.

It's initial comments like yours that make people afraid to try something new or different. Everyone has different and varied degrees of taste and preference. Your conveyance of your opinion seemed right out... rude.Last edited by Kamatari+; 02-10-2012, 02:13 PM.

its not a bad idea but just try to make it tighter an maybe use some kind of outer trim like crazymikey... hides all the imperfections around the perimeterOriginally posted by Kamatari+ View PostIf you're taking about trying something new, here what I did :
This was when I first started, I've gotten much father than this. I liked the original interior but I wanted to feel more at home.
My wife helped me out immensely. What I did more recently was the mirror cover and the speaker cover. I also cleaned up the shaved
and messed up areas that you may notice in this picture.

And here is an updated picture:

It looks like he started in the center and worked outward. He should have fit either the top or bottom neatly and then gradually gone the other way.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

When I did mine I actually started in the centre and worked out.Originally posted by Jarrett View PostIt looks like he started in the center and worked outward. He should have fit either the top or bottom neatly and then gradually gone the other way.
However, I traced around my old inserts and left some extra length around the edges to account for the raised sides of the panels.
I used spray adhesive and laid the material down in the centre and then worked my way around the edges.

The current one works. It's not perfect, but it works. In the grand scheme of things does it really matter?Originally posted by C91BLX7 View PostYou should have spent money on a door handle instead.
