ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I also suggest springs because they are worry free, you put them on and there is no adjusting.Last edited by AAPOQ; 08-08-2012, 06:30 PM.

IDK, most cats that go for coilovers are either trying to go "stanced" or just want their shit dumped. Furthermore, most of the people who even have coilovers have sleeves. They are cheaper but completely suck ass.
I just like a fixed ride height so thats why I suggest springs. If you want adjustability then go coilovers. Ground Control are the only sleeves worth buying. As far as full body coilovers, there are many many to choose from. Function and Form are reasonably priced and seem to be all the rage on this forum.

True bro, I'm thinking springs since I already have decent shocksOriginally posted by HardInThePaint View PostThats all really a matter of personal preferance. We don't know what you like so its impossible to answer that question.
But personally I would go with springs.
Any suggestions on coilovers?Originally posted by los123 View Postgo for coilovers bro you will love the stance and the ride
I actualy don't mind the adjusting part actually that's what I like that you can adjust the ride height, I think I'm convincing myself for coilovers hahahaOriginally posted by AAPOQ View PostI also suggest springs because they worry free, you put them on and there is no adjusting.
I think I would like adjustability so I'm inclining towards coilovers, I heard skunk2 are good tooOriginally posted by HardInThePaint View PostIDK, most cats that go for coilovers are either trying to go "stanced" or just want their shit dumped. Well, you heard WRONG.Originally posted by BIGMAK562 View PostI think I would like adjustability so I'm inclining towards coilovers, I heard skunk2 are good too
I'm telling you homie, if your going for sleeves get Ground Control and nothing else. I speak from experience (with GC's and other types of sleeves), Ground Control vs whatever brand sleeve... There is no comparison.
If your going Skunk2's then you might as well go Ebay cheapos. Seriously, there is no real difference between the two except the price.

Sure the idea of adjustability is nice, but do you know how to properly adjust coilovers?Originally posted by BIGMAK562I actualy don't mind the adjusting part actually that's what I like that you can adjust the ride height, I think I'm convincing myself for coilovers hahaha

Not sure if you checked this post out yet.

There are also quiet a few examples of what those could look like.

My skunk2 coils snapped. So I went with Form and Function. I'm a dynamics engineer and as far as street car/DD performance they are phenomenal. At 2.5" drop nothing rubs under max g loads. They are comfortable, stiff enough for a great performance upgrade, and the shocks seem to be really balanced.
